Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) — The wife of a Dansville man who has been wrongfully detained by the Taliban for nearly two years says she's thankful for a new effort on Capitol Hill to bring her husband home.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Minority Leader Mitch McConnell jointly introduced a resolution Tuesday calling for Ryan Corbett's immediate release and condemning the wrongful detention of him and other Americans by the Taliban.
"I urge the Senate to pass this resolution before Ryan's birthday, which is April 13," said Schumer.
